  1. Fantasy Football Points Against Schedule Analyzer - Combines fantasy points allowed with the NFL schedule to determine which teams have the most favorable matchups at a given position over a given number of weeks.  This tool should be helpful in determining which players to trade for or trade away and which waiver wire players to target.

Example:  The table below shows the most favorable QB matchups over weeks 14, 15, and 16.  St. L has the most favorable schedule, with an Average Fantasy Points Against (AFPA) score of 20.86.  The Baltimore Ravens have the 2nd most favorable schedule, facing opponents who give up on average, 17.86 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks.

  2. Fantasy Points Schedule Predictor - The analyzer tool (above) is useful in determining which teams have the most favorable schedule over a given number of weeks but does not take into account the strength of the team whose schedule is being evaluated.  For instance, Cincinnati is slated to have the 7th most unfavorable schedule for quarterbacks over playoff weeks 14, 15, and 16.  Does this mean you should drop Carson Palmer and pick up Anthony Wright or Kyle Boller for the playoffs?  The Fantasy Points Schedule Predictor is designed to help provide guidance for these decisions. The predictor tool combines the average fantasy points scored for each team with the average fantasy points allowed over the games played so far this year.  Each team is evaluated as having outperformed or underperformed relative to their strength of schedule at a given position.  This 'Net' difference of Average Fantasy Points Scored (AFPS) vs. their collective opponents' Average Fantasy Points Allowed (AFPA) is used along with the strength of schedule over the user-selected weeks to make projections.  There is an option to include the 2005 FPA/FPS statistics.  This option - to use last year's statistics would be more useful at the beginning of the season.  Several games into the season, you may want to exclude last year's statistics.  Also included is an option for Matchup Details.  Enabling this option allows an in-depth look at each PFPS for each weekly matchup (click on your PFPS of interest).  This option should generally only be enabled when looking at a single week's matchups as it creates a much larger file to be downloaded.

Example:  This is the same analysis as above (QBs over playoff weeks 14, 15, and 16).  The St. L Rams are still the top rated team for QBs over weeks 14, 15, and 16.  The Rams have played a schedule whose teams allow, on average, 15.67 fantasy points per game to QBs.  Yet the Rams have averaged 18.33 fantasy points per game against these teams - outperforming their opponent's average fantasy points against by an average of 17% per game.  In weeks 14, 15, and 16, the Rams' opponents average 20.86 fantasy points allowed to QBs per game.  The Rams are predicted to score 24.41 fantasy points per game over this stretch.  What about Baltimore and Cincinnati?  Since Baltimore has underperformed relative to it's schedule by -18%, it falls out of the top 5.  And Cincinnati, since it has performed, on average, 20% better than it's schedule would otherwise dictate, has risen to #5.  But you weren't really going to bench Carson Palmer for Kyle Boller, were you?
